In a joint venture with Creative House (a real estate investment firm based in San Diego), Fabric Investments has acquired the commercial property at 444 W. Cedar Street on the corner of Cedar and Columbia in Little Italy. The building was previously owned by the International Union of Operating Engineers based out of Los Angeles (since the 1950’s). The structure is approximately 800 sq ft and sits on a 2500 sf parcel. Situated on a prime corner in the highly desirable and flourishing neighborhood of Little Italy in Downtown San Diego, the property will be re-purposed for a restaurant/cafe and will boast one of the largest outdoor patios in the area. The transaction was completed off-market and closed 8/15/2014.
